I mean in theory the judiciary can name me President but on a forum, I don't think I would good behavior for a solid discussion, right?

Legally, ethically, morally, and realistically - the United States paying black people a gift for being black is a hard stretch at this point in the game.

Does the Congressional White Caucus have a response?

This could or should be the end of the Dim Party.......there’s no way they don’t go bankrupt.

It’s not worth arguing with the David djs of the world because it’s a different mentality. You have people who are constantly getting stuff. It’s part of life at this point

So why don’t you give me more.

I'm a black PhD-holding software developer. I definitely deserve a white welder's hard earned cash because my ancestors (rest their souls) were enslaved.

What a joke.

You know what I worry about far more than I do Covid, reparations, BLM, Pelosi, etc? It’s that the base of the so-called conservative party is Completely retarded. We get worked by truly demented liberals all day long then spend every night on our laptops telling each other how tough we are, and how soy boys have another thing coming if they dare cross a red line that has been redrawn at least five times in 2020 alone.

I’m not sure what this means in response to my post, but whatever - we can believe the constitution is bullet-proof from the Left. I hope you’re right.

Make reparations a voluntary fund, that way all the white guilt lefties who support it can put their money where their mouth is and unburden themselves of the vestiges of their white privilege. They can make a monthly payment just like St Jude’s Hospital. It’s simple really.
We’ll see how much they collect and how much actually gets paid to the “victims” before they start skimming off all the money from more leftist graft.

The reparations talk is just that, so they can get votes.

1. The United States was generally not involved in the slave trade, although they did lease some slaves for ship building in the early 1800s.

2. The United States spent masses amounts of money, resources and lives to free slaves - whether anyone actually agrees with the principles of the cw.

3. The United States was not involved in any general or mass taking of property or labor (which is property) in this instance.

4. Any claims should have been settled long ago if any, common sense says I'm barking up the wrong tree if I try to get Italy to pay for slave reparations during the Roman Empire.

5. How would damages be calculate, I mean the United Stated didn't cause damages, and the property if taken minus living costs really wouldn't be much.

6. In theory, the descendants of the slave owners would probably be due reparations as they generally didn't receive compensation - although in DC they opportunity was there iirc.

All this theory stuff goes out the window during any type of oral argue at Appeals or the Supreme Court.

Blacks want a gift, a hand-out... I would say if that ever happened, this country would be done anyway.

P.S. as a generalization what happened during WWII to the Japanese in this country with the camps was clearly a taking, even if legally justified by the Supreme Court at that time.

I appreciate the explanation.

Maybe I’m too cynical as I look out over the country and see the utter nonsense that has resulted in 30 million unemployed, millions of small businesses on the brink of BK, civil liberties walked all over by megalomaniacs - all because the Left played the Right, and the Right folded like a house of cards. Not to mention the violence cheered on by the Left over a false narrative that the Right has been nearly silent about.

I have my doubts but hope you’re right about reparations never clearing its legal hurdles.

Never going to happen so, who cares?

40 acres of wakanda and a 2 year lease of an A-class Mercedes is out of the question...

As long as the American people get a receipt marked “Paid in Full” and then an elimination of all race based policies and procedures, including but not limited to HBC, hiring preferences and the like.

It's very simple and cheap too.

The promise by Sherman was for 40 acres and a mule. The mule part was easy because the Civil War was ending and the thousands of mules would no longer be needed. There were 4 million African Slaves at the time. Pay no more than 4 million with proof that their great great grandmother was a freed slave, find the middle of the Mojave Desert , plot out 40 acres and hand over the remains of a Civil War Mule.

The problem isn't the black population continuing to be led by nose by racist black and white Democrat thugs in Congress. The problem is that Flight 93 should have never been crashed in Pennsylvania.
