We’ve done this before, and everyone hated it so much we reversed course.

The fake outrage the past couple of years over the time change is hilarious.

Standard time is awful. Who cares about sun early in the day. Give me daylight when i get off so stuff can be done.

Yeah I grew in south Louisiana I get why people want it down here, but standard time is still the best year round.

I know after having lived in AK that standard is also the best out there

Well... first you must consider something, them form a search committee, then an actual committee, then do a study to determine what appropriate studies need to be done, etc...

All starts with "consider"

Boooooo standard time is best.

So you don't want more sunlight after getting home from work? Standard time is for farmers and they don't matter since they can start their day whenever they want. Permanent daylight savings time is the way to go.

If we dont Spring forward in March it would be getting dayligt at 4 15am.
Dont need that.

IF we dont fall back in Winter it would no get daylight until 830-9am for outdoor work. Dont need that.

We do it for a reason. Quit bitching and change your clocks twice a year.
What a bunch of pansies we have become.

They should determine first to quit changing the clocks.

Then give like 6mo-1yr for people to harass their representatives on WHICH time scheme to adopt.

Then pick the most popular time scheme.

Some people won't like what's picked but nearly everyone will at least be thankful changing clocks is over.

And considering unimportant shite.
We can change time change after we fix the Healthcare system, stop illegals from voting, clean up fraud and waste of our tax dollars, things that matter.

I think Sen. Cotton killed it last time. It passed at one point, surprisingly, in the House.

Totally agree. We have a big country and it doesn’t make sense for full time daylight savings.

Take Detroit as an example. Sunrise today would be at 9 AM. Who the hell wants the sun rise at 9 AM? Kids will be in second period of of school and get to watch the sunrise. Dumb.
