I honestly feel bad for LSU fans. We got a small taste of the Woke crap at MSU when the University forced Leach to apologize for a cartoon he posted on twitter. Some clown tried to make it a “racist” cartoon which it 100% was not. I hope this guy doesn’t start any crap at LSU.

I voted for Ralph Abraham in the first round and when fast Eddie won the runoff spot, I voted for Rispone with absolutely no problem whatsoever.
Why? Because I understand that elections have consequences and they’re not popularity contests to toy around with.
And we saw one of those consequences today with a critical race theory advocate taking control of this state’s flagship university.

The fundamental problem with hires like this is assuming that the candidates personal beliefs will not have a major i impact on their leadership approach and plans.
It is not possible to support an ideology like CRT to the extent state has and then turn around and claim it will play no part in your plans or decision-making for the future. As a college professor, it is hires like this that have made me want to leave academia. You can’t even criticize their bullshite research without being attacked and if he buys into CRT, then his scientific/academic acumen is not one of a quality that deserves this type of position.
I am a freaking classic liberal and I am done with LSU for the time being. I have many friends and colleagues that work there, but I can’t in good conscience support what is happening there now.

FWIW, while I agree LSUballs is an emotional simpleton that enabled JBE and what we’re seeing today at LSU, there’s no changing the fact that Eddie Rispone ran a horrifically bad campaign, treated each and every region of the state with a one size fits all marketing, did not understand that Louisiana politics is a relationship business and hired carpetbagger consultants who did not understand Louisiana politics and still robbed him blind.
And foremost, Rispone’s biggest sin was that he did not understand that he did not have the political capital to withstand the blowback he would get from going negative against Abraham, especially when the democrat is the entrenched incumbent. People just didn’t know Eddie and he did nothing to fix that.

Honestly , I hope it becomes USC of the south , and LSU is my alma mater . Only way these people and the state will wake up and go back center is if they see it in their wallets . This is why I’ve decided , I’m placing the NCAA and LSU in the same category as the MLB , NFL, and NBA . Unwatchable entertainment!!
