Someone tell Roland it's time to come out of retirement
As long as this mission would be voluntary, I don't mind letting our warriors she a little rebel action.
Just make it bombardment heavy. Wipe them out from the air

Dems- Trump is going to war with Africa or Trump is trying to conquer Africa and steal their resources.

This presents an awesome opportunity if just for MAGA to post the DROC flag as their social media profiles.

What he's offering would require military occupation. We're not built for that, neither militarily nor politically.
The minerals are worth more than the 24 trillion when you consider the stakes of the chip production supply chain and racing China to ASI and likely global domination.
But even at the stated monetary value alone, if you're not built for it, you build for it.

How long have we been in Japan, Europe etc for far less?
We're not really occupying them. They want us there.

If the companies that go here want to fund mercenary armies, fine. But not a single soldier should step foot there. Thats not what the military is for.

Yet liberals like yourself bitched when Trump pulled troops out of Syria in the first term.

Remember when you tried to claim Trump didn’t secure 1.5 trillion in U.S. investments the past week
Good times

France and UK have been financing Rwanda to attack DRC and steal their mines.

What could go wrong?
(*)semantic ambiguity
It's not a semantic ambiguity. It's a lie. There might be some people who think an invasion and being invited into a country are the same, but I don't expect there to be many here.

It's an irrelevant distinction, given the context.

Yeah, that's not enough to dive into that shithole. Nah, China is actively pursuing ownership of Africa. We should jump all over this.
The real reason they want US presence is they defaulted on their belt and road loans. “DRC took 53 loans worth US$2.4 billion from China between 2000 and 2018, mostly to fund power, transport and mining projects”
If no one steps in, china will take ownership.
