this perfectly describes him. the us/cia and Israel/mossad are responsible for every single geopolitical event.
nobody else has any agency. there's no bad guys (aside from us). the world would be a utopia without the US and Israel.
it's the most naive and simplistic view. he lifts all his talking points from Scott Horton, another grifter. I watched a lengthy debate with him and an actual ME policy expert, and Horton was continuously caught in lies.

Yeah, regardless of if you support this action or not, you have to admit that taking out the entire leadership structure of a country and sinking a dozen of their boats is definitely more than a few love taps on the wrist

Sure there is. There's always the possibility it doesn't happen either. The problem is how many people always assume the worst case scenario is guaranteed and make their arguments based on that.
Their entire worldview is based on fear, and that's a silly way to go through life. I would even say it goes against the American spirit. This country was built by hardy men who achieved great things and faced untold dangers and uncertainty in a new world.
Somewhere along the way, most of the country turned into pussies too scared to make a move. They think if you just mind your own business and stick to your principles, then the world will magically be what you want without having to put in the work to mold it.
Just look at all the "conservatives" who say, "We can't do that to improve the country, because the democrats might do worse in the future." The outcome of such thinking is always maintaining the status quo. It's the mentality of the weak.

For one, we helped rebuild a continent. We've greatly reduced hunger, the tech developed in this country has absolutely helped the world.

I was thinking more about people changing their minds based new knowledge.
I was a fan of Bill Cosby, also a comic, for decades.

what has happened since the weekend has been mild.

Not like that continent had a lower standard than us or was in greater poverty than us prior to WW2. So no, we did not help them rise.

We've greatly reduced hunger
No, we haven't. World hunger rates have not declined nor risen in decades. We, as taxpayers were greatly fleeced though.
quote:

Really? So no tech was developed anywhere else?

Well the specific goal of the operation and plan hasn't been communicated, and we know the admin flies by the seat of its pants quite often.

20 years of realizing how the ME isn't really solvable will do that.
Trillions cost and hundreds of thousands died to realize that. People don't want a repeat.

Typically this involves maintaining constitutional limits, which is a tenet of conservatism. That's a completely fair criticism.

Oh and also kneecapping China’s interests in South America and now the Middle East. All in a day’s work. Incredible work. Not being able to say that is an incredible achievement shows you’re not interested in seeing America succeed.

OK so what does this do, exactly?

You're making a huge assumption about the ME sphere and adding an unrelated event to support the "win"

I simply understand this is just the beginning of an operation and no real achievement has occurred yet. Can it turn into what you say in a few years down the road? Sure. Have we ever seen that in the ME yet? Not really, after 70-ish years dealing with it.
