I’d almost be satisfied if Brennan, Comey, and Clapper were the only ones to go to jail.

Comey needs to be on Instagram next to a pond and exploring his sexual orientation

He might be the first former FBI director found in a truck stop parking lot trying on the skins of male prostitutes.

What a fricking dork this guy is !

The memos show that “former Director Comey never wrote that he felt obstructed or threatened,” according to Reps. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., and Trey Gowdy, R-S.C. “While former Director Comey went to great lengths to set dining room scenes, discuss height requirements, describe the multiple times he felt complimented, and myriad other extraneous facts, he never once mentioned the most relevant fact of all, which was whether he felt obstructed in his investigation.”

Comey is such a pussy !

You would think the director of the FBI would know an FBI investigation isn’t a proceeding as required for Obstruction. In fact Mieller specifically used the word “proceeding” when he discussed obstruction in his report. All Comey needs to do is look at the DOJ prosecutors manual. It specifically states this. The man was clearly unqualified if he doesn’t even know the rules.

In a normal world Comey would have every single citizen lined up against him with pitchforks for being so offensive in this pathetic offering. He'd have us believe that Trump was thinking if he'd only fire Comey that possibly not a further word could or would be spoken about Russia. Comey would perhaps literally lose all ability to pass on to others whatever knowledge he possessed about the matter. Covered up and silenced forever dum dum dummmm!!

Turns out he wasnt right about any of that although it doesnt stop him from preying upon the weak-minded in an effort to convince them of this comic book garbage....given that level of disrespect he has for those people surely they'll notice and become enraged at the offense.

I really hope you are correct about Comey and all the others. But the Trump DOJ has to act now. Already we are three days past the reveal and you can see the democrat messaging coalescing into a unified theme. In essence Comey casting doubt on the conclusions of the AG and DAG. I have posted this in other threads but Trump holds a very large hammer now. There is no SC breathing down his neck and copious evidence of wrongdoing and possibly felonies committed. What if this whole exercise started in the west wing and spread from there through the intelligence agencies? It couldn't be investigated while Mueller was in place. He is out of the picture. Damn, politicians and the bureaucracy moves so slow. I'd be nervous if I was on the other side of this. There was NO COLLUSION on the part of any citizen in the US. Why was there a FISA warrant granted?

But what the president “appears to be saying is, ‘I got rid of this guy to shut down an investigation that threatened me,’” Comey said.

Yet he DIDNT fire Mueller, Rosenstien or anyone else he knew was out to get him. Just the guy who fricking botched everything he touched, buttfricked the presidential election, and committed felonies.

Hmmmm. Maybe it's just you, Jim.

Weird how Mueller was allowed to complete the investigation if this is true
Mueller was only allowed to continue the investigation because Sessions was AG. Sessions had said several times that Mueller should be allowed to complete the investigation.

Sessions had also resisted Trump's call for a second Special Prosecutor, citing lack of evidence.

How long after Sessions was gone was Mueller's investigation "completed"? How long after Barr was sworn in was the investigation "completed"?

Comey: "Trump firing me could be obstruction of justice"
In theory, had Democrats, Republicans both not called for his dismissal, had RR not thoroughly identified reasons for it, and was it not completely within POTUS' right to do, it could be.

Of course, we now know that in the President's case there was no justice to obstruct....so there is that too.

OTOH, we now understand Jim Comey himself obstructed justice, unapologetically so. Under those circumstances, allowing him to continue in his role could itself be considered obstruction of justice.

So, now we’re implying Mueller didn’t find evidence of collusion because Barr shut it down too soon?

Whatever makes you sleep better at night.

Lest we forget, Comey either knew that from the start, or was played by Brennan:

quote:

In testimony before Congress weeks later, Comey acknowledged that he facilitated the leak of that information in the hope that a special counsel would be appointed. That gambit seemingly succeeded in pressuring Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to select Mueller to lead the investigation.
