It completely matters. It's illegal to leak classified info, it's common for unclassified conversations to be leaked to the press.

so in summary thus far, according to Comey, there's nothing on trump linking him to russia, and while Trump behaved inappropriately, there's nothing to indicate obstruction of justice.

The Obama administration politically weaponized the FBI on March 2016 via the counter intelligence investigation. Comey's (and most of the swamp) motivation is to conceal this.

Do you really not see a difference between the relationship the President has with the FBI Director and relationship a CEO has with a random VP in the organization? Comey's boss was Sessions.
