My understanding is they found several drugs in Lucas' system, a mixture of various prescription drugs that probably caused adverse interactions (like Heath Ledger).

Also if service on a person isn't strictly followed a case can be dismissed. So if killing the server gets a case tossed, who's to say they aren't above it?

Ativan (lorazepam) is a benzodiazepine. One of its common effects is short-term memory loss. Tegretal (carbamazepine) is commonly used to treat schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Among its side effects is dizziness/drowsiness.
So get two meds, one making you woozy/sleepy and the other making your short-term memory rival that of Dory, you get the rest.

How fricking stupid. Improper service doesn't mean the case is dismissed and just disappears. They just have to re-do the service of process. It's not a game-ending impediment even if it's not done correctly. Also, killing the process server doesn't make the service improper and certainly doesn't kill the lawsuit.
If you wanted to end a lawsuit by killing someone, the process server is literally the VERY LAST person you would want to kill. This is fricking stupid beyond belief.

How would killing the process server a month after service was perfected get a case tossed? Part of his job would have been to file his verified certificate/affidavit of service so your theory his being killed for some procedural advantage makes no sense.

There was a thread on this earlier and apparently there is an Unsolved Mysteries episode on it available on Amazon Prime now called "Friends to the End"
It was 2 teenagers who went to go spotlighting, end up getting hit by a train. Conductor says they were just lying on the tracks with no movement and stab wounds (not from the train) were found on the bodies.
Huge drug smuggling operation was running through the airport in (I think Mena, Arkansas). William Jefferson Clinton was Governor of Arkansas and was suspected of ties to it.
I think that's it in a nut shell. Search for the thread or watch the Unsolved Mysteries I guess
