Funny how hushing free speech is okay when it's something the board agrees with.

What is disturbing is how stupid you are.

civil discussion

But no one wants a civil discussion. They just want to say while people are racist and give us what we want.

Players are free to kneel in their protest and fans are free to counter protest with boos and boycotting sponsors.

That's what we are doing. Pointing out the flaw of a bunch of millionaires shitting on the nation that made them millionaires.

The constitution says they we are striving to make a more perfect union. It's the epitome of Americanism to draw attention to the flaws our society has and try to have a civil discussion on how to fix them.

Except there is no civil discussion about it. It's the left's way or you are racists etc etc..

It's not about Free Speech. I would be equally pissed if they were kneeling to end the War on Drugs and increase funding to NASA. I watch sports to turn off my brain from how shitty this world is. And now they're wanting to bring this to sports? On their own time they can say whatever they please, but when they're on the fricking clock? frick off! The constitution does not ensure job security for having shitty political views that you bring into the workplace.

American's attention span is too short to maintain moral outrage for an extended period of time. In a few weeks, we'll move on to the new," it" topic.

When will you dummies stop confusing this with a free speech issue?

Free speech is always okay regardless of what is being put forth. Now kindly explain how this is a free speech issue.

They booed so loudly that it kicked up a dust storm that prevented the video cameras from capturing the image of the kneeling players.

When you're right you're right. People need to stop buying tickets and stop watching at home or all the booing is meaningless.

When you have millions of people who have had all their needs met without putting in any of their own effort all while being extraordinarily culturally walled off from the realities of a life that doesn't garner all basic needs being met.

They've never feared having no food or shelter. Even the poorest in our country have cell phones, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram at their finger tips.

It's a bunch of spoiled shits that are realizing they don't have any purpose in life besides being full time consumers. They are trying to find purpose where there is none and for some bizarre reason the American flag has gained their attention as a target. Americanism itself is under attack yet they don't realize they are the EXACT embodiment of Americanism gone wrong.

One of the best posts I have read in quite a while.

Well done!

If flag burning is protected under the first amendment as free speech; I'm sure kneeling for the anthem is also under that umbrella.

I never realized how many people in this country don't understand what free speech is. No matter how many times you guys repeat it, this isn't a free speech issue. And ironically, you guys are using that argument to try to prevent those of us that don't support the kneeling players from exercising our free speech.

Free speech protects individuals from restraint or censorship from government.

It doesn't protect them from consequences from their peers or employers.

That's the point I was trying to make.
