Might want to look up the definition of ‘consummate’ and ‘journalist’ and compare that to her actual actions. She was a democrat hack, all the way back to the Reagan era. Essentially the poster child for what passes for journalism today.
Had she been promoted as a socialist democrat pundit, she would be worthy of respect, but she was portrayed as a journalist.

No she wasn't...she tried to push an agenda and so even if she was plain spoken, she was still masquerading around as a journalist which implies wielding a cloak of impartiality. That is being dishonest and taking advantage of what many real journalist had worked to garner a reputation of, for being impartial.

She, like 99% of other "journalists" today was merely a foot soldier in the propaganda army of the liberal cause.
She might've been a lovely human being, but let's not mince words about the fact that she wasn't interested in reporting the news so much as she was influencing the narrative.
