I would agree, but it is good to have them identified and out in the open. Hopefully they stay in business and attract all the would be up and coming tards, but nobody else pays any attention to them.

His initial reporting (the same reporting as Fox) was based off of a memorandum issued to the press from Spicer. As long as the words he quoted were the same words used in the initial memo then that's a proper use of quotations.

The pool report is not issued by the White House. It is independent journalists selected by their peers to represent all journalists.
Acosta was wrong to quote "sources" as that inferred that he had inside information, which he did not.
I don't care about his politics but the guy is horrible at his job and should be fired.

My fault then. I was under the assumption that the White House pool report came from Spicer. If he didn't get the quote from a WH official or a report quoting a WH official then he was wrong to use quotes.

I still take issue with OP and the premise of the whole thread. Acosta shouldn't have used quotes but he didn't make up that Trump didn't go into the room - that came from the the pool report which covered what Spicer initially said
