There were three arrested. Cameraman, producer, and a reporter.
Just before they got arrested the police were making another arrest and asked them to move. They moved way back and kept asking where the police wanted them and said they'd go there and then the arrest happened to them.

Seems like a good way to keep protesters away. And keep people on lockdown too.
The Minnesota governor just apologized to CNN and says he takes full responsibility and that 'it never should have happened.'

Do you mean the boomer mindset GOP, Inc. conservatives who only conserve yesterday's progressive talking points? If so, then I agree.

My local station said they were told to move several times and refused.
Sounds like they thought they were above the law or they wanted to get arrested.
They absolutely wanted to get arrested. And someone gave them what they wanted.
The opposition is growing increasingly desperate and they’re now staging riots and claiming trump wants to end the free press. This doesn’t help.
This is a bad PR move. Unless there is clear video taped evidence of them breaking the law this is not going to go well.
We’re going to hear nothing but nonstop lies about how Trump wants to forecably shut down the media by attacking twitter and now CNN.
This is going to get a lot worse before it gets better.
I absolutely hate CNN as much as anybody but the first and second amendments are sacred and you don’t just violate them because someone is a jackass.

Which of Trump's Policy initiatives do you believe to be "terrible", TB? Because it's the ISSUES/Policy that is the root for the societal upheaval that is upon us. It is Leftist Ideology (Social Justice) vs. Constitutional Principle/God given Rights that fuels the revolutionary fires.
Votes won't settle this. Votes are the problem. Neither will political dialogue; read Thomas Sowell's essay re "First Principles". Talk only makes it worse.

What is a "Constitution" in the eyes of hooligans, elected or non elected?

Were these cnn reporters doing either of these things? Because of not they have nothing to do with this thread

Constitutional rights can be suspend during a crisis, it’s for your own good, haven’t you been watching CNN as they told us this?

Their opinions are irrelevant. The fact that they are there to observe and report is sacrosanct. I’d say the same if they were from OANN. You don’t frick with the free press in this country without violating the Constitution.
Agreed
