Excuse me while I catch my breath. As I was going to say - Never mind.

CNN's 24/7 Trump-bashing strategy doesn't seem to be working.

The beleaguered network's primetime hosts Anderson Cooper, Chris Cuomo and Don Lemon celebrated Thanksgiving with the network’s lowest-rated week in primetime viewership in nearly three years.

Fox News averaged 2.2 million viewers during the primetime hours of 9-11 p.m. ET from Nov. 25 through Dec. 1, while MSNBC averaged 1.3 million viewers during the same time period and CNN managed only 643,000 average viewers. It was CNN’s worst performance in nearly three years and the liberal network’s worst turnout among the key demographic of adults age 25-54 in over five years.

CNN averaged only 138,000 primetime demo viewers -- less than half of Fox News’ average of 303,000 during the week.

Fox News was the most-watched cable network among total day viewers for the 47th straight week, averaging 1.3 million. Hallmark Channel, ESPN, MSNBC and Nickelodeon joined FNC among the top five.

Nickelodeon beating out CNN. That's swell.

How low can they go?

It’s been dreadful for years.

Take away the TV's in airports and that number (138,000) is cut in half.

Is it? I know I dug it as a kid in the 80s. Alright I'm accepting of that. Still funny though, "the most trusted name in news" not in the same league as Nickelodeon and Hallmark. I know this time of year Hallmark gets heavy action on the Christmas movies. I'm not gonna say I haven't partaken in a few myself. I admit it.

A lot of people are saying local public access is drawing more viewers in many markets.

Their politics are bad, but the actual product is even worse.

Let’s put this in perspective. Pewdiepie has 1.7 million views on today’s YT video and 4.7 million views on yesterday’s video. Pewdiepie on YT is kicking their asses. Lol.

But he does have 102 million subs.

Cable news is dying.

More informed viewership die to the internet of things. People can see the old clips on youtube of CNN bald-faced lying to us for decades.

As someone said earlier, couldn't happen to a better set of lefties.

You can already watch wrestling every night so if anybody wants fake TV that’s much more entertaining.

I see. You compare what happens on the web to cable news.

But I’m pretty sure CNN has a website. And they have videos on YouTube.

Take the L and move on.

How does CNN sustain itself? The producer and Jeff Cucker should all be shown the door.

Honestly what kind of person would what this shite? They’re all actors...bad ones at that. They’re transparent with their motives and contempt at this point. I only ever watch clips for entertainment. There is nothing real to be gained from it except the knowledge that there are some dangerous, sickening ideologies becoming more mainstream in this country.

I'm feeling generous though. I will bestow an award upon CNN, or one of their people more specifically. Gold medal in the category of "most condescending anchor who in reality has the least reason to feel that way":

Don Lemon

Congrats, Don.

Once upon a time, in Baton Rouge:

Up at 5:55; bathroom.

6:00, CNN while brushing teeth and shaving. Shower, dress, and leave for work.

CNN now? Quoth the raven, "NEVERMORE"! It ain't what it used to be.

My favorite was when Anderson Cooper was beat out by a rerun of Ancient Aliens.
