Trumps's problem isn't just a low approval rating (at a time when it should be at its highest). It's that his disapproval numbers are astronomical. At this point Reagan's disapproval was around 15. Trump's in the 40s and higher. It's hard to change those numbers.

Based on how unpopular they both were and the negative campaign I'd wager that Clinton's numbers would've been around the same had she won.

That's okay, a Trump poll shows CNN has a 93% disapproval rating.

I wonder if those are the same pollsters who predicted a Clinton victory?
It's a national poll and thus not relevant.

At least not insofar as elections go

You know it's fake news when CNN is about 35% lower than I expected this poll to be.

Trump has no problem. He is successfully dismantling Obamas legacy in a short period of time. Thus far, he has done nothing but win.

And Hillary won the popular vote. So? Mob Rule? Highly unlikely, polls be damned.

The week before the election Gallup showed Trump with a 61% unfavorable rating. LINK

I've heard on 2 different FOX shows that CNN is complaining that they are being frozen out by the WH. Both comments came from analysts who were pro media, taking up for CNN.

wow

you guys are in denial.

After Comey's 2nd letter, it was obvious she would not win.
I said it. Therefore, your meme that the polls were shite is nonsense.
common sense said that she was toast.

Now to the new poll. Half the people detest him already and he's just started.
He may win reelection anyway, because so few people actually even vote.
He won with maybe 23% of the adult population's votes. so the fact that only 53 % are disapproving is pretty good for him. it means a whole lot of people who didn't vote for him like him ok.

I'm not sure the bigger lie among the media, Trump's disapproval or Obama's approval.

Both numbers are wildly inaccurate.

I know he is controversial but everything he has done is exactly what he said that he was going to. For that, I applaud him

Here's the thing about Trump that breaks from traditional politics. He ran Republican, but he doesn't always fit to their mold. People voted for him because of this.

If you think about it, he won as a Republican, but what the people truly voted for was more anarchy than anything else.
