So a non-FISA Federal Judge approved a warrant according to CNN

Federal investigators and computer scientists continue to examine whether there was a computer server connection between the Trump Organization and a Russian bank, sources close to the investigation tell CNN.

CNN is told there was no Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrant on the server.
The FBI declined to comment. The White House did not respond to a request for comment.

In addition, companies involved have provided CNN with new explanations that at times conflict with each other and still don't fully explain what happened.
quote:
Slate and The New York Times were first to report the unusual server activity.
The Times said the FBI had concluded there could be an "innocuous explanation." And cybersecurity experts told CNN this isn't how two entities would communicate if they wanted to keep things secret.
quote:
Another computer researcher, Richard Clayton of Cambridge University, said it's just plain weird.
"It's not so much a smoking gun as a faint whiff of smoke a long way away. Maybe there's something else going on. It's hard to tell," said Clayton, who has independently examined the scant evidence available.

I'm still of the opinion that all of this was put in place to take down Trump the citizen post election. They were planning to make an example of Trump to show what happens when you challenge the Establishment. Then Trump won and there was no exit strategy.

This is what Circa reported yesterday. They said there was a regular warrant for the server and then another unrelated FISA warrant (on somebody).

So unreal that with three tweets Trump has willed this server controversy to the top of the headlines.

Fishing expedition. There were three attempts at surveillance of the Trump campaign in 2016.

Weird since it never happened acccording to CNN like two minutes ago

The Server that was reported to have been sending SPAM to entities around the world, of which one was a Russian Bank?
It has never been ascertained that the server has ever been linked to Trump,Inc, the Trump Campaign, or anyone affiliated with Trump.

It really is unreal. People were making fun of Trump but he never backed down. I don't care what you think of Trump but the man has a set of balls on him. His presidency represents a change in the tide and the bureaucracy is scared out their minds.

So who is now the head of CNN? Debbie? Barbra? Who runs the DNC now?
Posted on 3/9/17 at 6:06 pm to stinkdawg
Perez is now the DNC chairman

Someone reported yesterday that the FISA covered a server away from Trump tower.
Either way, are we still pretending like the Obama IC isn't spying on trump?

Agreed.
Plus they never expected to lose. They didn't plan on any of this coming to light.

It is not enough to simply beat Trump. He must be destroyed thoroughly. His kind must not rise again.

Trump's smoke screen tweets are one thing, but to directly accuse Obama of committing a crime crosses the line.
Of course, some on here think there is nothing Trump could do that would cross the line.

Well I mean is it really such a stretch to say Obama wire tapped him if he really was being spied on by Obama's government?

There is no way in hell this wasn't approved by the White House.

This likely popped up based on routine network monitoring of traffic to/from IP addresses in Russia. Network logs can be thoroughly analyzed without ever looking at the server.
