I think the article is about Woke people destroying Thanksgiving not Christmas, like your title states.
That being said, they are going to use this as an explanation of why CRT is needed in classrooms throughout the land.
I'll go ahead and destroy Christmas for Cuomo now too. I'm not woke, but I am awake, there is a difference. Christmas has nothing to do with Jesus nor does the Bible ever tell us when his birth happened.
If you get bored today, go research the origins of Christmas and ask yourself what any of it has to do with Jesus.

For me and many others, Christmas is a celebration of the spirit of Jesus, which is displayed in my case via family gatherings (even more so than Thanksgiving, as out of town family members prioritize Christmas for travel).
