quote:In other words you don't have sh!t to say. You baws on here, when things are not going good for you, alway say that everyone on here knows you're right, like that means something. It's hilarious.
We all realize and know your hypocrisy.

Rep. Ron Dellums was a hired lobbyist for Natalia Veselnitskaya working to defeat a law that is the hated object of a personal vendetta waged by Russian President Vladimir Putin. I assume you are all for sending him to prison for treason right?
What are you even talking about? What does that have to do with the Page situation?
You just run off with the mouth about off the wall, whatever comes to your mind, irrelevant crap.
My original question, which you never even tried to answer, is should the FBI have ignored Page's dealing with Russia that I described in my post, Here's the post and my question. Are you going to answer it or not?
quote:
Page was recruited as a Russian spy in 2013. The FBI had been surveilling him since then for his continuing activities in Russia.
On July 7 and 8, 2016, now a member of the Trump campaign, Page gave a speech at the World Trade Center in Moscow. The next day, he gave the commencement address at the New Economic School in Moscow, criticizing U.S. policy toward Russia as too harsh.
You think the FBI should have ignored that?

That doesn't answer my question. You said if she was prosecuted under the espionage statute 10 years. What other lesser statute could she be prosecuted under and what would be the penalty?

What leads you to believe she would be investigated under anything other than this Espionage Act? Top-secret intelligence is information that could cause “exceptionally grave damage to the national security of the United States” if it fell into the wrong hands.

Penn is an idiot.
And you have the kahones to call anyone an idiot
Halper contacted 3 people within the Trump organization. Three> This old Bush crony is just sitting round dialing up Trumpers at random? And of course Page was one of his contacts, because of his Russian business activities. Clovis was another, who couldn't be bothered with Halper. And then we get to Papadopoulos. Who Halper met with BEFORE Downer. And was the one that fed Pap the info that Downer reported
And who is Downer?
Just a guy who gave the Clinton Foundation 25 million dollars. MILLION. And he just happens to bump into Pap?
And who is Joe Hockey?
Oh, only the guy John McCain went through to let Australia know that he supported them over Trump's objection to the refugee situation. You know, the same John McCain that delivered the dossier?
Try looking in the mirror, next time you're looking for an idiot

Man you are hard to get an answer out of. Why won't you just answer, if you know?
What is the lesser and included crime that she could be charged under and what is the penalty?

All the libtards on twitter are melting down over Penn's column. Calling him a sell-out, being paid off by Trump, not good enough for any publication except the Hill, and a Russian agent.
It's glorious to watch.
It's glorious to watch.

Now I know why you didn't want to discuss anything other than the espionage act.

People simply don’t get indicted for accidental, non-malicious mishandling of classified material. I have followed leak cases for a very long time, both at the Washington Post and since starting Lawfare. I have never seen a criminal matter proceed without even an allegation of something more than mere mishandling of sensitive information. Hillary Clinton is not above the law, but to indict her on these facts, she’d have to be significantly below the law.

You mean do I think the government should be spying on the opposition political party candidate because he has International connections?
Do you think that's okay you fricking moron piece of shite

quote:IMO, that is a naive take.
Egged on by Steele, they simply believed Trump and his team must be dirty. They just needed to dig deep enough.
'They' knew exactly what the "dirt" was involving both campaigns. 'They' weren't searching for "dirt" in the Trump Campaign.
They were creating it --- deliberately, maliciously.
Just as when Bill Clinton was involved in several dalliances which became public in 1992, the Clintons concocted audacious accusations attempting to sully GHWBush with an extramarital affair too.
Sully the other guy with your sins.
THAT was the plan.
THAT was the cause.
ChicagoPolitics straight out of Alinsky's playbook.
What was this actually about?
There was zero expectation of a Trump Presidency.
They knew the BillyBush tape was laying in wait.
Trump's loss was a foregone conclusion.
This was an effort to render impotent any post-election revenge on DJT's part, and then allow Clinton minions to go Scorched Earth in a counterattack, ruining the Trump Empire in the process.
As it turns out, this may have been a competition with far higher stakes for DJT than simply losing an election. Chilling truth.

OK - you got me -
Giving speeches out in the open to hundreds of Russians is an aspect of spy craft I had not really considered.
Hang Page and anyone he ever worked with.

When this is over, the federal government should reimburse everyone that was interviewed and not been convicted by Mueller for their legal fees.
Actually, it should first drain the finances of Mueller and he henchmen, plus Comey, McCabe, Bannon, Clapper, Yates, Rice, Kerry, et al.

hmmm - had not thought of this. Makes more sense than anything else for why they invested so much in a campaign they thought they had in the bag.
