I put in bold the REASON why you are running. Personally, we all understand why you are doing that. It's not about good of country, it's about your anger at the American people for rejecting the path of the Democrats.

The Russian tried to recruit page as an agent in 2013. They specifically were trying to get information on U.S. sanctions on Russia. He then lived in Russia and interacted with know Russian operatives while being surveilled by the FBI. He didn't travel to Russia in July 2016 on a family vacation, he was invited by the Russians to come.

Under federal law, to establish that an American is acting as an agent of a foreign power, the government must show that the American is purposefully engaging in clandestine activities on behalf of a foreign power, and that it is probable that these activities violate federal criminal law.
Explain to me texridder....if Page was committing federal felonies (which is technically a requirement to open a CI invetigation against him)...why didn't they also open a criminal investigation?

Whenever anyone posts something that goes against the grain on here, there is hardly ever any actual effort to disprove or even discuss what has been posted (as is the case here).
Instead its the same two-step crapola, which you too seem to have mastered:
1) bring up a whataboutism about Obama, Hillary, or even Bill Clinton; and
2) accuse the poster of being unpatriotic and only posting because he is still angry about the last election.
Pitiful.

I posted on Page's Russia-related activities and you responded with something you say Hillary did (a quintessential whataboutism) and wanted to know if I wanted you to post about all the Democrats' contacts with Russia (another, lesser-grade whataboutism).

It was a criminal investigation at first and when they couldn't find enough evidence to justify the spying they then changed it to a counter intelligence investigation.
Simply talking to foreign actors is not a crime and not enough to warrant blatant and illegal spying.

And yet Comey blabbed his big fat mouth about the existence of such a counter intelligence investigation of the Trump campaign during live public testimony on the hill despite repeatedly telling the President he was not under investigation.
You are not supposed to reveal the existence of such an investigation and only refer criminal matters to prosecutors while keeping the rest under wraps.
