And all the Republican talking heads knew this info, but it never stopped them from predicting a Red Wave

It's amazing you could post that when your side literally elected a dead man in one of the races.

Winning in places like Colorado and Washington were a pipe dream. The only places to be really disappointed is Penn and AZ Senate, along with a few of the Va House races. I guess you could get upset over Boebert.

And its going to be virtually impossible to declare a "wave" when it takes a week to count votes. Most likely a few House pick ups in California, but no one will notice because it's already been declared a "no wave."

Looks like something between 222-225. 538 model had it 228-230 R. So a slight under performance but not the total missed layup that this board thinks happened.

Exactly everyone melting that was a disaster for GOP is blind. If you had asked anyone 6 months ago that we would be 228-230 in the house they would have been over the moon. If you had asked also in we would be 51 in the Senate most would have been thrilled to take that. This is still on the table and can happen. It seems people just had their expectations way to high but the result is still excellent.

PA. elected a mentally impaired man for Senate and an actual dead person in a state election.

It has far less to do with candidate quality and much more about tribalism and an ill-informed public. The current economic path created by both parties cannot be sustained.

The Ds took the long plan by getting the schools and higher education. They got control of non-elected bureaucratic positions like the EPA, Dept of Ed etc. They managed to convince the majority that a federal behemoth of a government is much better than individual state control. There are so many more things that have been done through entitlements as well. They control the media narrative and just executed a 30-40 year game plan and are reaping the success.

The Rs were warned but were too comfy and went along because they could win just enough to stay happy. It is going to take a significant effort/event to win more than the occasional national election for the Rs.

it seems pretty obvious to me. Everyone knew that Republicans were gonna win the House and increase in the Senate. So, what do you do if you are the propaganda wing of the Marxists?

1. Set unrealistic expectations for your opponent so that you can temper the actual accomplishments.
2. Immediately begin to bash the accomplishments and call them a huge disappointment.
3. Blame that fake huge disappointment on your biggest political rival, Donald J. Trump.
4. Push as many news stories as possible to push a divide between Donald J. Trump and Ron DeSantis.

The problem is that a lot of Republicans are just as stupid and soft mentally as all the Dems that they make fun of. So, most of them fall right in line with the propaganda and immediately buy it, believe it, and then share it on social media.

The Dems took a butt whipping today. Bottom line. STFU and stop giving them even a small win.

It’s the instances like Chabot losing in OH, losing the new seat in CO and NC that makes it feel like a missed layup. Not many were expecting the Democrats to win those races and offset the GOP gains.

no, it has to do with their voter laws. Nothing was fixed in PA since 2020. And, we see the results of that.
