I'm pretty sure he is counting races that are mathematically locked up but haven't been called. I would put that at 218 now.

A lot of the House races where a Democrat incumbent prevailed, were very, very close and could have gone R. If it’s ultimately 222 instead of 228, it really doesn’t matter in our current political culture. Republicans will control the agenda.

Democrats taking a victory lap for covering the spread.

There are 20+ races where 10-20k more Republican votes would have kicked a Dem incumbent.
The difference in 220 vs 240+ House seats was probably less than 70-80k votes out of a few million.

KM just said on FN that Potato head called and congratulated him on winning the house and becoming SOH? Hmmmm…..

Well, it is rather interesting that there are about 34 uncalled races and half of them are California house districts.

Hard to call Cali races since they have legal ballot harvesting until Dec. 1st and mail-in voting allowed as long as postmark is before Jan. 1, 2023.

Thanks. Yes, I was reading some stats for one California district with just under a million votes and less than 50k were cast on Election Day. The rest all mail in. Apparently, vestigial covid related behavior.

Not much changed with the overnight dumps and it looks like the window for Rs is 218-224.
