While I get where Higgins is coming from, he and and rest of Congress have no business restricting any more of our freedoms, we do not trust you.
We The People will take care of this, you mutts just sit over there and pay attention.

i support other's right to free speech, as someone who served in the marines for 8 years i get asked often on issues of free speech and i answer honestly. i fought and served for all person's right of speech, but that falls in another category when you're defending\promoting\celebrating violence and\or death. you are now engaging in the behavior of it as well.

Semper Fidelis brother. I did 14 years myself in Corps and then another 10 in the national guard. Thank you for your service.

Promoting maybe. The rest or just cruel and grotesque and vile IMO.

No. But making insinuations like "Do Trump next" is an actual call to violence and that should not be tolerated.

I've been suspended from here probably at least a half dozen times

Can't say I didn't deserve it either

You guys haven’t figured out this is how they win. They use the decency of our country against us.

free speech is one thing, cheering on the assassination of another american citizen is in its own category.

If the DOJ doesn't do anything about the threats, i dont have an issue with Elon.

Ppl can say whatever they want. But that doesn’t mean a private company has to allow their platform to be used to spew ppl’s hateful bs.

Ignore him. His job today is just to be a contrarian. Just shitty arguments in every single thread.

I got a 24 hour ban for telling a leftist what I think of them. I didn't hold back. Probably deserved the ban.

People posting and making fun of the death of Charlie Kirk are scumbags but this reactions seems to be everything Charlie stood against. Trying to regulate freedom of speech and social media is straight out of a leftist playbook.

Civility is dead. His name was Charlie Kirk.

Good. A website should have zero tolerance for political violence. And no, that is not "free speech"

Oh please tell us where you limit free speech. Where is that boundry?

Disgusting speech is in fact free speech.

Do you think people on our side would celebrate the death of certain people on the left?

Calling for someone's death would be too far, celebrating it while vile and contemptible, should be part of free speech.

I do agree with the Freedom Of Speech issue. To a degree.
However, their right to Free Speech was not infringed, because it’s posted and public for all the world to see. That wasn’t infringed.

However, consequences of actions is another matter. You can be an overall shitty human being by advocating that people’s words deserve to get them killed. But people are not at liberty to give you a public platform to prove you are a lunatic.

The owners have the right to no longer allow you to have that Freedom on their platform if they deem your views to be a menace to society.

People celebrating Charlie Kirk’s death have no home training. More importantly, they need Jesus Christ.
