I always liked Mark Steyn...looked forward to hearing him guest host. But he never really was more than a guest host. Being the starter is much harder day to day than pitching in relief.

I really like Eric Erickson (noon to 3 ET, wsb radio). You can listen through their web site or the tunein app.
He's conservative but does call balls and strikes (fairly IMHO) on both sides. He's more of a news guy/less of an entertainer than Rush.
You might also try Mike Gallagher (9 to noon ET, 920 The Answer, again tunein app). I find him to be more entertainer than news/commentator. I do frequently listen but don't like his style very much. Different strokes.

I quit listening to talk radio after 2012. Just got my blood pressure too high. Every once in awhile (for instance, the day after the debate), I will try to go listen, and it is just unbearable. 5 minutes of commercials, comes back, talk for about 5 minutes, and then does a live "commercial" - aka talking about the local Real Estate guy or Vape shop. Then a chat with the producer or side-kick about some stupid shite. Then the "top of the hour" commercial break which is like 10 minutes. How anyone listens to that day after day is beyond me.

Not only do these two guys suck as talk show host...Now they are the USA of Zelenskyy...They got their hands in anything that will give them money. From Crockett Coffee, to sports gambling, now launching a beer and clothing line...
