He is 70. Insiders say he wants off. Doesn't need to pull a Ginsburg and stick it out till next term. Need to refresh him with a young black conservative. Any suggestions. Is this akin to finding a unicorn?

He's going to do it. He's not foolish like RBG. He sees the mistake she made. He wants to enjoy his golden years. All he has to make sure is that Trump replaces him with an equally conservative Justice.

Amul Thapar is his likely replacement (if we go down the identity politics route where a minority has to replace a minority). He's a very young, very conservative Indian American judge.

Nope. Justice Thomas slogged through for years with just Scalia on his side. He now has youthful conservative support on the court, he has a team. He ain’t going nowhere.
