Here is the fact: You are not gay ( according to you) and I am. I have been around drag queens and one of my closet friends ( deceased) was , at one time the most well known dragoon The Lady Chablis. Frank was bad into drugs ( which is why I had to part ways). I have lost more knowledge of the drag/gay scene then you will ever have. The audacity to speak like you're an authority is ludicrous and a lie.

Totally anecdotal, but I worked in the restaurant/bar industry while I attended grad school and one of my co-workers regularly performed as a homosexual drag-queen in pageants held at gay nightclubs.
This co-worker was a kind and decent fellow who appeared to lead a very troubled and desperate existence. In addition to being a drug addict who barely survived paycheck-to-paycheck, he — and he identified as a “he” — was saving money to have breast implants.
He invited me and other coworkers to attend his drag performances yet I always politely refused. I imagine many of my co-workers thought it was because I was a square but the real reason was because I genuinely was concerned that attending such a show might somehow encourage this destructive lifestyle.
I don’t know what became of this person yet unless he drastically changed the trajectory of his life, I can’t believe it ended in a good place for him.
