We have a competency crisis due to affirmative action. We also deindustrialized, and so the economy is smaller than stated.

You need buyers, and the growth rates and increased competition will ensure failure long term.
But they are leading the world in EVs right now.

Except they have surpassed us in some areas. You can buy a new Chinese EV for 10k.
We understand you’re used to dollar general lifestyle but there’s a reason why they’re cheap and it’s not because of quality. They’re also not here and in 3rd world countries.

Are we witnessing the birth of the new world power.
No. You're seeing the controlled demolition of a wannabe global power that only got where they are due to us. Between the U.S. backing away and their demographic collapse, China will be unrecognizable in 10 years. They're done.

What you are witnessing is a shite load of propaganda teetering on the edge of a massive financial cliff.
When it comes to their EV's, there are a number of sources you can find to back up the OP.
They sell these all over the world, except here. We've had people break them down part by part, and they are very impressive now.

Chinese auto exports rose 64% in 2023, with strong push by EVs, as makers expanded overseas

EV's and TikTok
They can have it
They can have it

TikTok isn’t worth a dog turd without 180 million American users. They can take it away if they really want.

Have you moved there yet? Let us know how that’s going.

You remind me of Michael Scott with this thread. That’s not a good thing

If you search "China EV" on Twitter you will find information and videos that will allow you to become more educated on the current situation

This gets old.
How about we compete better?

If you want to be a dweeb like that guy then go ahead and buy them. I personally wouldn’t trust the longevity and safety of those vehicles. These vehicles also aren’t going to take over our US consumer market.
