We have literally been doing the dumbest shite with alllwoing China so much.
Disturbingly impressive isn’t it?
While we play “look squirrel” and send billions every other week to “save democracy” from Vlad, the same ancient country that produced Sun Tzu and The Art of War quietly and methodically goes about its business setting us up for the ultimate fall at a time of its choosing.
We have our arrogant yahoos over here who reject such a notion (“They depend on us!” “We can destroy them!” “We are too powerful!”) but the history of the world is littered with similar arrogant characters who finally had their oh shite epiphany a moment too late.

If true, then why does Biden allow Chinese balloons and drones fly over our country with impunity?

Why would you want to shut down your largest customer?

That's alright. We can destroy their entire country by blowing up the 3 gorges dam. And they know this full well.

You seem to be very confused. We would have ever right to do the same to China if they crippled our grid.
But our politicians wouldnt allow it. You and I both know this.

Is that what his boss told him to say?

Yet our federal government has done nothing to harden our electrical grid. Another failure of our federal government to protect our nation.
Almost seems intentional.......

Thank you for giving us one more example of why we need to investigate any and all business dealings done between the Biden Crime family and the CCP

Why would the federal govt be on the hook for “hardening” something that’s privately owned?

Go ahead and cripple our grid. The US will loose their shite and we will then thin out our week dependents.
Then it’s on like Donkey Kong

Culturally, the average American is way more reliant on electricity and electronics than the average Chinese.

Gonna be crazy times when China causes some big scary event that the Marxists will blame on Trump. But we will know it was done by an foreign actor at the behest of the Marxist left embedded in the federal govt.

Because we task them with responsibility for national security. There aren't many bigger national security issues than one that would bring the country to its knees in a matter of days.

I don’t disagree that it’s an issue but how are you going to do it? Buy it or just take it? Regulate it?

Nah. That runs afoul of property rights.
I think legislating certain hardening measures by the grid owners, while simultaneously awarding grants as those projects begin, and setting deadlines for completion that target the most serious weaknesses first.

This Board had debated and assumed that for the last 10 years. The treasonous Dems have done zilch to harden our Grid and in fact have done everything to leave us at the mercy of our enemies. And we even know why.
The only question remained to be answered is whether or not it is too late to make a TOTAL top-down cleansing of the Transnational Progressive Bureaucrats (aka Deep State) that has implemented this scenario. It's kinda like a 'fail safe/kill switch' wherein if the Left begins to be taken out, they pull the trigger mechanism. Many of us concluded that such a violent anarchy which ends up in a local vigilante style cleansing is the only way any meaningful clean up can be done, as Constitutional Rights and Due Process would be employed by the Left to gum up the whole process. Not to mention how many good and innocent folk would perish in the calamitous, infrastructure meltdown. Your's Truly likely one of the first to go.
It is really going to be interesting to see how Trump finesses this to avert calamity. If that is even a viable possibility. He should lay out up front that if the CCP does pull the trigger, that 3 Gorges Dam goes down in the first hour of a Grid attack. Period. That will likely be his play.
Things will be a lot different this time next year.
