Destroy them. They have declared war against us. They want to destroy us, so nothing should be off the table. Not saying nuke them, but shouldn’t be off the table if they want to play.
But we definitely need to push it to where their populous rise up and destroy their commie leadership.

This is what I was saying the other day.... We raise tariffs too much and a cheaper competitor will take the business. This is very simple...

That would a first from the Chinese.
As I understand it some of their battery tech is actually pretty innovative, but yea they have been caught stealing from US EV makers too

You mean the technology they stole

Most of it is, f@ggot. I know that upsets you because you want to see Trump get owned by them... but I have news for you. Not going to happen. You TDS pussies just don't seem to realize that Trump is a winner and his administration has been preparing for this for years. America FIRST, bitch. Don't like it? Get the frick out

We don’t have to have any boots on the ground if Trump stays the course and let them break themselves.
BUT if they want to check knuckles, they need to know that we are ready and willing to meet at Sonic.

Look IDK what they stole or didn't steal. We know they are sure trying and have convicted a few. My point is they appear to have advantages to the US in. certain aspects of EV development at this time. I'm not cheerleadering for Xi it's just an observation

I hope they do go with China. And in 6 months when every EV bursts into flames, and EU has no recourse to sue China, we can watch them come groveling back.
Or....maybe the EU can attempt to reduce tariffs on US?
Thank you. Thats what none of these globalists will ever admit. China is beyond recourse. They have been so for as long as people have traded with them.

The Chinese are only about the Chinese. They'll never be globalist. May act like it to take advantage of them but they're Chinese through and through.

This will put BMW, Mercedes, Jaguar, Land Rover, Subaru, etc all out of business.

Furthermore, I imagine it's just like buying a Chinese made E Bike on Amazon. Great price, not a bad looking product but try getting that thing serviced when you need it stateside. That's my concern anyway.

So we take them down "a peg or two" or everything is over for us?
Long term yes.

So we just intimidate them (still not sure how) a little bit
Yes. As of now, they are dependent on us. They have most favored nation status. That needs to be rescinded. They are guilty of IP theft, currency manipulation, circumvention of trade agreements (thanks to our “friends,” Mexico and Canada fricking us over). They need to have penalties (or sanctions) levied against them. The tariffs are fine.
quote:
they will just give up on the belt and road thingy that would destroy us?
They will double down on it. We may (will imho) become isolated.
For now, we have the largest consumer market, and are a quarter of the world’s GDP.
Now is the time to remedy the “China problem.”

I think the better way would have been though the Pacific trade agreement that Obama had worked. You could have over time retooled that and NAFTA to keep China isolated. Blowing that up set us back. Now Trump is essentially trying to rebuild it now.

First they tied their energy security to Russia and now they’re looking to buddy up to China. Brilliant work.
Posted on 4/10/25 at 9:40 pm to John Barron
LMFAO! This will hurt the EU.
Posted on 4/10/25 at 10:03 pm to mmcgrath
Who said anything about nation building?
And we are the U S of A bravado doesn’t come up short for Americans that aren’t weak limp worsted like you sound like.
This isn’t just some economic dispute and only a naive fool thinks so. This is Trumps approach at trying not to put boots on the ground.

Good for them. Seriously how are their imported Islamist migrants going to afford an EV otherwise.
USAID was going to fund foreign military aged men with electric vehicles in large music festivals.
That’s not far fetched.
