He's right in that Congress has the authority.

quote:

Article IV
--Section 3 New States and Federal Property
----Clause 2 Territory and Other Property

The Congress shall have Power to dispose of and make all needful Rules and Regulations respecting the Territory or other Property belonging to the United States; and nothing in this Constitution shall be so construed as to Prejudice any Claims of the United States, or of any particular State.

But where he fails is in not acknowledging that Congress long ago abandoned that authority relying only on the funding mechanism to influence work on the White House grounds.

I see this as akin to Texas trying to secure their southern border when the Biden administration simply wouldn't. There needs to be a mechanism for the transfer of authority which varying parts of government have essentially abdicated.

Roberts argument is that the ballroom needs congressional approval, however Congress is not arguing to stop the construction. Congress has not brought lawsuit to stop the construction.

Using the dismissal of the 2020 election challenge on the basis of no standing, shouldn't these ballroom lawsuits be dismissed in the same no standing grounds. No government entity with oversight is challenging the ballroom.

Epstein is dead, no more young women for DJT.

Say what you will, but Bill got the panties to drop for free. Not sure of the success of other POTUS but guessing past 55 and your "freshness" has expired. Imagine being a hot 21 year old - with all kinds of hot guys their age - having to bang Pelosi, Sleepy Joe, DJT, or The Turtle.

Roberts is a neocon fraud, the perfect representative of the man who appointed him.

Some of us fiscal conservatives think this ballroom is just another example of runaway spending in the face of massive debt loads

Not buying the notion that it’s being paid for by corporate contributions. Even if it were, we don’t want our government being controlled by special interests that can manipulate our elected officials if we can avoid it.

If this were being done by a Obama or Biden or Clinton or any democrat, it’d be sky screaming from all of us but for some reason it’s perfectly acceptable if Trump does it. Some just like being gaslighted I guess…
