Cheney Made it Personal

I don't think Cheney is a secret Democrat. She just took Trump's attack on the Bush/Cheney administration personally and went on a vendetta to destroy him.
There were other Republicans directly involved in Trump's assaults that didn't take it personally and still supported his policies (Rubio for example). Cheney just got butthurt and couldn't do it. She reacted the same way McCain did. But at least McCain was attacked personally, whereas Cheney herself never was attacked (only her dad).

So many people don't truly understand that there really is, essentially, a "uniparty" or "deep state" or whatever you want to call it.
People on both sides fighting tooth and nail for their own good. It's a network of people who want to keep their power and deals going. They all know who's "in the club" that keeps things going.
What they don't want is an outsider that might threaten their little status quo gravy train. Greed comes before anything else: party, principals, etc.
