Are these false statements? 98% of all heroin comes into this country across the Mexican border as does virtually all of the cocaine and a majority of the marijuana. Those are the 3 biggest illegal drugs

He said they are rapists too but you left that part out. Importing drugs idgaf about.. they wouldn't be selling if no one was buying.

Well, considering over half of these migrant women are raped or sexually assaulted, I'd say it would be beyond naive to say otherwise.

That's for the chillingly dumb perspective.

Are not a pretty substantial percentage of rapes and violent crimes in the United States committed by illegal aliens who crossed into this country through our southern border?
I mean, the numbers are pretty staggering. LINK

The steep decline in mainstream support for The Wall started around September of 2015, and really took off after Trump's election.

What happened in August and September of 2015 to sour so many Likely Voters on The Wall? It was Trump--galivanting round the country on campaign stops, vilifying Mexicans as "rapists". This is just despicable.

Probably because it went from a security issue to a brown man bad issue on the right.

Yup. The main reason it lost support is because of Trump’s explicitly racist justification for it.

Messenger 100% at fault here.

You mean dems? Who went from 40% wall approval to 12% in a heartbeat the moment Trump won the nomination. #resist and all, right?

Dems decided instantaneously upon Trumps nomination to oppose a border wall because Trump riled up the "Buchanan types"? All 14 of them?

It seems the best conclusion. Focus on national security and leave the fear mongering out.. the message will be better received

"[they] pour into and infest our country"

"They're bringing drugs, they're bringing crime. They're rapists and some, I assume, are good people"

"I think [immigration] has been very bad, for Europe... I think what has happened is very tough... I think they better watch themselves because you are changing culture"

“Women all across the nation are going to show up and vote Republican on Tuesday. They want security. They want safety.. They don’t want to have these people coming in. They don’t want to have … some of these people are just horrible people."
who are you quoting there? Are the perchance made of straw?

Yep, only 3 out of 4 women making the journey here were raped.

We can call them rapists when it's 4 out of 4.

Would love to see that as well. Would also love to see what ha been in the budget in years passed for border security and barrier reinforcements compared to what they offered this round.

Well one of the things the dems offered that hasn’t been voted on in the Senate is a continuing resolution of what was passed last year ($1.3B, some of it earmarked for physical barriers)

Not sure about much beyond that
