The main reason why boomers are statistically becoming the most left wing voting bloc is because the status quo works for them
They don't have to deal with current housing prices or job market and don't care about deficit spending since they won't be the ones paying the bill

They are also likely in front of a tv all day with msnbc on it, not necessarily watching but definitely have it on and hear it. My FIL turned that way, dude is a retired cop and somehow he bought the Jan 6th narrative and has been anti Trump since but still hates the left. The common denominator is TDS which is a mental illness. If Roger is in Alaska that dude probably needs legit mental health treatment because the state already has a high self harm rate. Dude is going bonkers over tariffs that has done nothing yet.
