Che became the enforcer during the Caban revolution.

Later when he went to South America to bring the revolt there, the operation broke down so bad, his troops were stealing and robbing form the peasants.

Those local farmers turned the Cubans into the government, which was backed up by the US CIA.

CIA has a long memory, and Che forgot about the supplies being flown into Cuba to help Castro.

Im at my local rum shop and there is a Venezuelan chick I hadnt seen before, obviously peddling her arse. She had on a Che Tshirt. I wanted to say to her, you do realize the reason you are selling your arse in a foreign country is due to your govt following policies ole Che revered.....but it would be lost on her.

It’s the same story over and over with commies. If you are leading it you enjoy the fruits of capitalism while the common man starves.

The fact all of these retard leftist think the way to them being equal to those that work hard for what they have is communism is just retarded. They are all going to end up just being the foot soldiers and actually having nothing still.

Capitalism isn’t perfect but it’s the only system where you can change class.

Christopher Hitchens too, which surprised me. He’s on record speaking fondly of Guevara.

to be fair, it was a very nuanced opinion

Ché was such a bloodthirsty psychopath that it's very likely the USSR sold him out to the CIA. It's impressive to be too evil for them.
Castro had to get rid of Che because of his violent revolutionary rhetoric was causing issues with the USSR and fear of America. The man was wanting to start World War 3.

Hitler was highly respected around the World after hosting the Olympics so you are way off on that one. Germany was largely viewed as a great “success” under his leadership prior to WW2

Che was a psychopath. He hated the Soviets as much as the Americans. He was a failed revolutionary. Everything Castro put him in charge of, economy, agriculture, infrastructure, etc., he failed miserably. Every country he stepped foot in outside of Cuba, failed miserably. His claim of being wounded during Bay of Pigs was complete BS. Che was on the other side of Cuba, waiting for the US to invade when, in a show of bravado or threat, was brandishing his pistol and it went off when he dropped it. The bullet grazed his cheek. Fking retard. Castro was glad to be rid of him, probably ratted him out to the Bolivians and paid to have him executed.

how the hell did Time magazine immortalize this guy

Because…

he literally claimed if the Soviets had left nuclear missiles in Cuba he would have attacked the U.S., specifically mentioning New York City as a primary target
