He doesn't represent the State. He represents a school.
The State Guard represent the State and they're actually doing their job.

You would think the word MISSISSIPPI would trigger something to stir in the ole gray matter but i guess not.

He probably wants it as an excuse to transfer since Mike Leach is the coach now. Mississippi state won't be running the ball anymore.

Was he not aware what was on the flag when he came to cowbell U?
At that time BLM didn't tell him he should be outraged by the flag but now that they have gave him his orders to be outraged of course he is.

He might as well pack his bags and move to Ghana since this entire country is systemically racist.

The ncaa will bow to this and not make him sit out if he chooses to leave.

Just what college and NFL football need: another problem child contaminating the sport.

He wasn't told that it should bother him then.

If so, expect most of the rosters for Moo U, Ole Miss, and Southern Miss to hit the portal.

Call down Margaret. STFU and get your publically funded free education and play football.

He chose to return after Leach became the coach.

Word on the street is that several players at MS schools are petitioning the NCAA to allow an immediate transfer.

State always looks worn out by the second quarter. They should improve conditioning.

He might have been told about the playbook later and shortly before he learned about the state flag.

They can try it but that’s a good way to opening up the floodgates on a suit.
This kind of shite has been previously allowed en masse mainly at schools where violations have taken place like SMU, Penn State, Ole Miss, etc.
In this case, the only thing that has changed is the political winds.

Wonder if anyone is “reaching out” to them?

Already have. The new guy doesn’t play around, so there’s been some “attrition”.

Note to young black men:
Changing flags and tearing down statues changes nothing, it doesn't erase racism you may experience. taking a flag down doesn't inspire people to change how they feel about black people, in fact, you might be surprised what negativity comes you way....
History is not for you to like or dislike, it's to learn from it...
Change is done by people changing....
and right now the change needs to start with using facts rather than baseless emotions....that is being conducted by the BLM.
10 black men shot by police last year, 6 of them involved the black man assaulting the officers. 8000 homicides recorded last year, of black on black murder/shootings.
get on board with facts understand the media is not your friend...
think for yourself!
