You can see it coming from miles away. Went ahead and got out in front of it and ordered some of these last night.

Please lend your expertise on how they are testing to find said "delta variant".

CDC announced this week that the PCR test really has never worked and flags for not just covid but a host of other illnesses.

So, how do "they" know about the delta variant. Where are "they" getting the data from?

All I can come up with is from pathology tests from those in the hospital. But, I am skeptical.

Supposedly they take 750 samples from around the country each week and do a genome sequencing or something like that to see if it's Delta. There's that video floating around here with that Dr. David Martin who sounds like he knows his stuff saying that's a sham and there is no delta variant..but who knows...I don't believe anything anymore.

It does mean that the line drawn between vaccinated and unvaccinated is moot. If everyone, vaccinated and unvaccinated, are spreaders then the decision on how to mitigate symptoms is purely personal. Being unvaccinated is zero threat to the general population.

No it didn't. What it said was that it was coming out with a test that would test for COVID and Influenza with one swab.

They take a sample positive for COVID and do genomic sequencing to determine if it is the delta strain or the original.

of the attendees at the Massachusetts spreader 3/4th of ones previously vaccinated got the delta.

vaccines works in that NONE of the hundreds died of Delta.

the graphics on the delta say in a few months everyone will have had it. it's going to be a quick 1 million dead by Halloween. 100 million unvaccinated.
1 million dead.
onward. " it's always something. " laurel or hardy. gilda radner as Roseanne roseannadana.

Does the vaccine work or not?

That's not what the data shows. The CDC is run by morons. They put a negative spin on really positive data.

Symptomatic breakthrough infection for vaccinated (and I assume immune as well) individuals is very low compared to unvaccinated.

What the CDC said was, once the vaccinated person becomes symptomatic, which is a smaller subset of asymptomatic infection, we saw a viral load similar to unvaccinated infected people.

The problem is that conclusion isn't very clear at all, and even the notation about similar viral loads is wrought with issues.

As I've said before and I'll say again, if you are parroting the CDC's dumb negative spin on extremely positive data, you're not winning.

I'm saying this bickering does not matter. If the government experts along with the CDC are muddying up the data then there is no conclusion to be drawn. The media does not retract their stories even when the data changes. They just drop another one on top of that one contradicting it, sometimes on the same day.

There is no way that the general population is going to figure it out when the agencies that compile the data screw it up. Just live and let live. Get inoculated or don't. But there can't be sides to take.

There's a battle going on between the powers that be, and me and you have nothing to do with it. We just know something's up so we are naturally agitated.

Confusion is the weapon of choice. We just need to grab the ball and go home

I don’t believe that a engineered virus can mutate that fast I believe a new virus has been released but by who?

China so that they can shut down our economy or our own govt to keep mail out ballots to continue to corrupt our elections?

Both have a motive and a means to do so.

Or they could just say that the vaccine doesn’t prevent spread. If you have minor symptoms then stay home until they go away.

Just because they find the virus in the nose of a vaccinated person does not mean the person is sick. He may very well be capable of transmitting the virus but who cares but the unvaccinated?

The government should do nothing about this outbreak. People have a choice to get vaccinated.

Very, very few vaccinated people are experiencing anything beyond mild symptoms from the D variant from what I am reading.
