CDC summer camp guidance calls for masks outdoors for kids over 2 years old & also vaccinated adults. Only exceptions are eating, drinking, and swimming. Gonna be especially brutal with the humidity. Why are we torturing children for no good reason? LINK

Our school district ends all mask mandates at the end of May. Summer camps better do the same or they won’t get many kids enrolling.

So what is the concern for the kids? They are basically not at risk.
All at risk people have the vaccine available. What argument are they making for the restrictions?
We got the vaccine so now they have stricter restrictions on kids. This is not logical.

Masks indoors for young kids is borderline irresponsible. Masks outside for young kids is child abuse.
This is all about instilling compliance at a young age. I don’t think that is even debatable at this point. There is NO SCIENCE that says this is a good idea. In fact there is plenty of science that says this is a BAD IDEA.

If kids were at risk, outbreaks would have happened in schools all across the country that went back to in person learning. That didn't happen.

What about the backyard BBQ guidelines for the summer? That’s what I’m waiting for. Can I have my in-laws over or not? How many masks per person? Panty hose stockings? Recommended distance ? Can I hug my mom or not?

We will be mask-free for summer camps and Vacation Bible Schools here in MS. Sorry if you live in a shithole state (looking at you, Louisiana).
