Frick off, JB. That drone technology has been available to us for over a decade. We don’t do it because there is little commercial application here.

China use to steal alot of technology 20-30 years ago. The last 10 years they have developed alot of technologies that are different than what we are using in design. The Flying Taxis is a perfect example

You failed to address my question that would clear up a big issue for your theory
quote:
Do you care to explain how EHang’s multi rotor design is totally different vs Joby’s tilt propeller?
Theft Allegations: As addressed previously, no evidence confirms China stole U.S. eVTOL technology. China’s progress leverages its EV and drone expertise, with 70–80% component overlap between eVTOLs and EVs. Independent development is supported by unique designs (e.g., EHang’s multi-rotor vs. Joby’s tilt-propeller).

I don’t care about the drone. I addressed your uninformed comment that China has not been stealing anything for 20-30 years, that is absolutely false.
Stay focused here kid.

Numerous reports out of China of riots and arson. Country is going downhill faster than expected. Several more truthful reports on this page.

"SUV sized" drones, huh?
Seems I recall hearing something about that towards the end of last year.
Huh.

After researching more about China’s eVTOL industry I came across this video from 2024 and this comment looks familiar
I am just glad we established this video was not fake by CBS news

How do you say "Potemkin Village" in Mandarin?
Just in general, how do Chinese people survive? You eat their food and you are hungry 30 minutes later.

“We don’t do it because there is little commercial application here.”
Joby and archer are the leaders here in the states.. they both have contracts with airlines.. uber.. military.. palinter etc…
Delivery.. killing …. Spying… and taxis are big business.. they have solid business plans published on their websites.
The evtol. Industry is global.. you could buy stocks from companies in us.. Germany.. China… and others for many years now.
.. fwiw they may be ahead in implementing but not the technology

I never was attempting to establish the video was fake. I made that clear in what I quoted on my very first post.
I did however establish your dishonesty about them not stealing technology and ideas for 20-30 years. That was an outright lie.

Incorrect. I said the last 10 years they have been innovators. You can not be the world leaders in those industries without doing the innovation. China's advancements in technologies like 5G, AI, and high-speed rail over the past decade show significant innovation, debunking the narrative that its progress relies solely on stealing intellectual property. Companies like Huawei and BYD have developed cutting-edge solutions, often outpacing Western competitors, with heavy investment in R&D—China's R&D spending reached 2.55% of GDP in 2023. Patents filed by Chinese firms, like Huawei's 4,000+ 5G patents, reflect original contributions. Those are the facts.

Unfortunately I have to agree with this comment about recent changes in China..they stole everything.. used our universities etc but in recent years they have made a significant changed in their view of tech..they do not send as many people out of country for education as they have put a lot of effort into their academics infrastructure.. they are becoming leaders on medical and as medical procedures benefit more from technology like ai .. robotics etc.. they are stepping ahead..
Yes they build fake cites .. I have been in them and seen them first hand.. they have horrible humanitarian practices ( imo)..
But they concern me a lot.. and if we get into a discussion on their stealthy efforts in controlling commerce with global domination or ports and rails .. dam son..
I have spent time in country and dealt with them in business.. imo they could care less about taking over the world with guns. ( but will maintain ability to protect themselves). they just want global commerce domination …
I do not stay up at night worrying because I will be dead before it all happens.. but I think the world will be significantly different for my grandchildren.

Please tell me you are being Sarcastic?
It is propaganda you uneducated turd. One of China's big auto makers, Huawei, is getting blasted for a comparison of some flagship luxury sedan against a MB Maybach S680. The owner of the Maybach that was rented to conduct the tests released data showing how Huawei engineers staged things, wrecked the Maybach, and basically did everything they could to make the Huawei car look like it could compete with Maybach (it's actually a piece of shite). Typical of all things China; lie, lie, and lie some more so the low-IQ's of the world will have something to say.
