The governor answers and teaches the dumbass "reporter" not to ask gotcha questions of people who are smarter than you.

quote:

CBS reporter Jericka Duncan asked, “Where is the money coming from to support people who aren't ready to be mothers or aren't financially stable to take care of a child?” Ivey fired back, “You simply cannot defer protecting the lives of unborn children because of costs.”

This is easily one of the weirdest arguments from the left.

If one can justify killing because it saves the state money..........it sure as frick doesn't stop with babies.

Governor, how are you going to pay for all of these old people who need medical care when you refuse to let their children euthanize them?

Governor, couldn't you save a lot of money for the state if you allowed "post birth abortions" up to age 2?"

Pharaoh tried that with the Hebrews. It did not end well for him.

So Alabama is going to 100% finance all welfare programs now?

Why is financial costs a supposed legitimate excuse for mothers, when the same consideration is not given to fathers and child support? A man would get laughed out of court if his defense for not paying child support was "well your honor, I'm not ready to be a father, and I'm not financially stable enough to take care for a child"

We could forcibly sterilize everyone under $20k annual income and really save a load of money.

I 100% finance the lives of my children. Is it insane to believe that others should too?

Say it with me:

Personal Responsibility includes dealing with kids you create. End of story.
