Catholic Priest accused of groping Texas woman during Last Rites

AUSTIN, Texas (CBSDFW.COM/AP) — A Roman Catholic priest in Austin has been arrested on a misdemeanor assault charge after he was accused of groping a woman in home hospice care while giving her last rites.
Austin Police arrested Rev. Gerold Langsch and charged him with assault by contact stemming from the October 5, 2018 encounter.
The 75-year-old priest is free on $15,000 bond. If convicted, he could be sentenced to a year in jail and fined up to $4,000.
Police contend in the arrest affidavit that the woman was in hospice care for complications from diabetes when Lansch went to her home to administer the sacrament of anointing the sick, a sacrament of absolution.
The woman, who is still alive, reported that Langsch first anointed her chest with holy water, then began to apply lotion, massaging a breast, pinching a nipple and asking “Does that feel good?” He then tried to slip his hand inside her diaper but was unable to.
The woman later told police the priest’s actions left her in shock, uncomfortable, confused and feeling like, she told police, a “nasty, dirty piece of meat.”

Martin Luther observed and wrote about sexual deviancy in the Roman priesthood hundreds of years ago. If anything it has gotten worse since then. Celibate clergy was one of many Roman inventions of the past 1000 years since its schism with the rest of Christianity. Unfortunately now with an estimated 80% of the Vatican being gay, it is probably too late to fix.

I’m Catholic and I say let the priests get married (to a woman!). I wouldn’t have a problem with that at all. I also say that current Pope needs to kick rocks and get the heck out.

I didn't read all of the OP at first. That is some pretty sick shite.
The good news is, it appears to have done wonders for granny. Sounds like she has perked up a bit and aint dead.

About 50 or so years ago I had an aunt that married her second husband who was a priest when they met. He gave up the priesthood to marry her. He was a helluva nice guy. It was the church's loss imo that he couldn't do both.

If you want to hunt bear, go to the woods.
If you want to hunt kids, go to where the kids are: teacher, coach, scouts, clergy, etc..
I think they should be castrated or imprisoned for life. But the Church forgives the truly penitent, like good Christians should.
