Dollar bills don't vote, last time I checked. And hopefully, the voters will remember what this piece of shite did to Trump and the MAGA movement.

Nah, anyone with a beating heart running against him with an R beside his name will win. I'm hoping it's Flemming.

Depending on the opponent and provided that JBE runs, JBE is a formidable opponent in a general election. The money in LA does not dislike him in the least and even Republican leaning voters don't dislike him. In his last election in 2019 he won Jefferson Parish. Got close to 40% in St Tammany and did very well in Terrebonne. You would also have to cede the fact that he would win Orleans, Caddo and EBR.

If Cassidy is the Republican nominee, Cassidy has the edge because of money and name recognition and the R after his name. Miguez is DOA unless he's a fantastic canpaigner. Fleming might have a shot as he does hold a statewide office, but it's Treasurer. It took Kennedy years as Treasurer to finally get noticed and David Vitter shitting the bed in the gubernatorial election against Edwards.

Also don't discount Carmouche and his money. GumboPAC has proven to be very effective. Wherever that money goes will tell you a lot.

That was before he locked down the state during COVID, threatened businesses who didn't enforce his mask mandate, and voted legislation to keep dudes out of girls' sports.

Second term JBE was a more arrogant POS than first term JBE, and hopefully conservative-leaning voters remember that.

If he goes up a against Cassidy, Cassidy wins. If he goes up against Miguez, Miguez gets blown out. Fleming is an unknown at this point.

I get what you are saying about Covid, and I was a big detractor. But, in politics, generally, memories can be short, and aside from Trump, money really does talk along with advertising. If Edwards does run....and it's a big if, look for Cassidy to be savaged in an attempt to get Miguez as the general opponent. Cassidy would have Republicans and GumboPAC savaging him from different ends.

It all depends on who Trump endorses.

Fleming isn’t an unknown. He’s got campaign infrastructure to win the primary and general. This JBE nonsense is more democrat wishcasting.

Money counts for a lot, but people still have to vote for you.

Democrats aren't voting for him, neither are most Louisiana republicans. Independents may break for him, but that's a big "if".

The problem with Bill is after he's elected he's going to go back to the person he was when Biden was in office Day 1. He's not loyal to Trump, or the people who voted for him.

Right now, I'm leaning towards Blake Miguez.

I don't plan on voting for Cassidy. He messed up bigly when he voted to impeach Trump.
