You just made his point.
Yeah, I'm wasting my time. This guy thinks Canada is like Mars or something, and that a modern military has no weapons that could reach their infrastructure. Especially with no fear of return fire, they could wage a prolonged war of attrition without putting a boot on the ground.

Why do we hate Canada?
For me they used TDS theatrics to say goodbye to Trudeau and hello to Carney. In the meantime they demean us. My blood boils when they comment in YT videos about how much the US sucks and what a country we are in. I don't like Canadians anymore and it is all from the steps they've taken and smack they've talked since DJT term 2.

Well there's your problem. With no risk of retribution, those population centers would be sitting ducks.
What?
There is no danger to Canada from Russia or China, either through the air or through invasion. The biggest danger, is again, internal dissolution. Russia and Canada might compete for Arctic Sea lanes, and the Canadian Navy's future procurement shows that is one of their primary areas of concern, but there is literally no danger to the Canadian mainland because of Canada's geography. You need to understand that before typing more drivel about a potential invasion.
While the Canadians need to increase the pace of their procurement, which will hopefully include buying jets from the US, this weird fantasy you've concocted about them doesn't make any sense, both theoretically and given the world as it is.

No, I am absolutely correct in suggesting that no country has the logistical capability to mount an invasion of the Canadian mainland other than the US. You are vastly overestimating the ability of these 'global predators' to project power. That was a nonsensical assertion.
Secondly, you are imagining a very particular scenario where for some reason the US security umbrella would not intervene on some imaginary attack on Canada. The geopolitics are more or less set at the moment. China isn't going to singularly fight Canada for any reason. Russia is going to compete with Canada and a whole slew of other countries for Arctic Sea lanes. You are inventing some weird fiction and pretending it is reality. I encourage you to come back to reality and start talking some sense.

What? You think that without US power, Russia would have gone for Canada? Is that what you are suggesting?

Personally, I would have secured meeting times, locations and subject matter prior to arriving. But, that’s just me.
That’s because most people that have common sense realize we are accountable for our decisions … our expenditures.
Carney is one of the WEF elites, like Trudeau before him. Why mention Trudeau? …. Because this long simmering feud started with Trudeau and Christina Freedland (also WEF) during Trump’s initial term.
Remember, they refused to come to the negotiating table with Lighthizer and team during the formative stages of the trilateral USMCA agreement talks.
As a result, Mexico provided valuable trade inputs that shaped the agreement but Canada did not. Huge mistake…. Lighthizer inserted toothy language in the trilateral agreement that WILL survive into the the new bilateral agreement …. one that will likely make it much harder for Canada’s assembly economy to take advantage of the US …. by becoming a middleman used by China to circumvent trade restrictions

What do you call seizing bank accounts, arresting people for protesting, and silencing speech if not authoritarian, which is colloquially the same as dictatorial?

This is the problem with discussions on the internet, people like you don't even understand what's being debated. I'll try to remind you, but I'm not hopeful. From my first post that started this discussion of Canada's security:
And now, several pages later, you're still saying this:
That was my first point; Canada depends on the "US security umbrella". As someone has already said, you just made my point for me.
Second, you say dumb things like this:
Do you really believe that all those ballistic missiles aimed at the US can't reach Canadian population centers? Do you believe that subs with conventional or nuclear weapons can't reach Canada? Do you believe that nobody has long range bombers that can reach Canada, especially if they decide to procure a forward base? Aircraft carriers launching drones? The US may be the current leader but modern militaries can project long distances in many different ways. The technology continuously improves. The US is not out of range, which means Canada is not out of range.
I pointed out that Canada is a massive beneficiary of US military power, and that's a debt they never acknowledge. If the US fails economically, that level of protection will suffer greatly, so Canada has a vested interest in evening up our trade at the very least. That alone won't make us solvent, but we have to start repairing every facet of our damaged economy. Like I said to the other poster, your inability to understand what's coming is not my problem.

like it or not, they owe a big debt to the US. Without US military protection they'd be a ripe plum waiting to be plucked by some ruthless global power that desires their natural resources.

The distance from Russian soil to Canadian soil is less than the width of Ukraine.
It used to be zero before we bought Alaska.
If we had lost the cold war, Russia would start eating Canada.
