Candidates Propose Changes To Fix Flaw In Constitution That Allows Republicans To Be Elect

WASHINGTON, D.C.—A number of Democrats have proposed changes to the structure of government that they think would help them win, such as lowering the voting age to 16, abolishing the Electoral College, packing the Supreme Court, and changing how Senate seats are allocated. Now, though, some of the Democratic presidential hopefuls are attacking the heart of the matter: what they call an “outdated Constitution” that sometimes “allows Republicans to be elected.”
“The election of Trump exposed a fundamental flaw in the Constitution,” Senator Elizabeth Warren said at a campaign rally. “Everyone said Hillary was supposed to win, but she didn’t. And we’re afraid that in the future, maybe Democrats won’t win again. We can't allow that.”
Warren and numerous other Democrats have proposed an amendment to the Constitution that will state that only Democrats are allowed to win elections, a proposal they say will increase election “fairness.”
“When I think about someone other than a Democrat being elected,” said Senator Cory Booker, “it makes me so mad.” He then raised his fists and shook them, a gesture indicating he was mad. Candidate Beto O’Rourke also spoke out for the proposed amendment, though all he got out was, “It’s a great--” before skateboarding into a tree and quickly fleeing the scene of the incident.
None of the candidates have explained how they propose to get two-thirds of the states to agree with this amendment, though this has led them to point out another flaw with the Constitution: that it’s “way too hard to change when you suddenly think you have a much better idea.”

This is the first step in reparations, take all the racist out of politics, justice only works with good people

The people have way too much freedom and opportunity to influence an election. What is needed is more democrat voters and fewer Republicans. And fewer ways for Republicans to have influence. So democrats are pushing ways to engineer outcomes. Of course the ultimate outcome of that is a one party dictatorship, loss of a robust economy, painful increased poverty and dramatically reduced standard of living, and a loss of freedom. For everybody except you guessed it, the ruling elite who are all would be, btw, democrats. And in particular, democrat politicians.

Step by step we are heading towards civil war. Personally I don't want it but it's obvious the left wing is not going to give us a choice

In ordinary times, I would say that this is a blessing and an admission by the dims that they have lost the battle of ideas and that they are the party of the immature, inexperienced, and uneducated.
But these are not ordinary times. We are now past seeing the fruits of the dims' half-century assault on the education system that primarily fails to educate the basic needs of survival and in the secondary leaves minds hollow and programmable.

People who do not understand the history of this country will scoff at this, but you're closer to the truth than many realize.
Now don't get me wrong, a lot of systems will have to fail for us to get to that point, but people should no longer feel comforted in the fact that cooler heads, reason & logic will always prevail.

You are correct Snipe. Like you say in ordinary times it would seem far fetched but these are not ordinary times at all. In my entire life I have never seen one of our political parties blatenly plot to circumvent the system to gain power as the democrats are.
With the help of the media they are not being called out for it either which makes a conflict even more likely. Just imagine how the media would react if Trump said he was going to stack the Supreme Court and change laws to insure only republicans could get elected.
They would be downright volcanic and the fact they don't do the same when the democrats propose such things is a major reason a widespread conflict is becoming more likely.
This is why I maintain that if a civil war ever does happen the liberal media should be among the first targeted. That's what I will be aiming at.

That can’t be a real article.
I hate the Democrats.

They're stupid. But they aren't that stupid. Not yet anyway. Though this article could prove to be prophetic when the primaries roll around.

I'm not sure if you posted an article from a satire website on purpose. Watching the sheep who scream FAKE NEWS at anything that doesn't fit their agenda, lap this up like it is real. Well it's extremely satisfying.

Reading the first two paragraphs you posted had me believing that Warren actually said this. Once I read the rest I knew it was satire and honestly relieved it was when I saw it was a Babylon Bee article.
But what is kind of frightening is that the first two paragraphs are somewhat believable from the Dems.
Also, how do regulars in this board NOT know satire when they see it?

That's why I put the source on there. I thought everyone would see it is satire.

you strongly underestimate the amount of orange kool aid the sheep on here have consumed.

Why do people not recognize it as satire because it's not that far off of the truth. Anyone reading the article carefully and not just skimming over it can tell it's not serious.

Pretty sure you see people expressing skepticism here if they didn’t already know about the source. Dems, on the other hand, have believed in muh collusion without a shred of skepticism, given the complete lack of evidence, for more than 2 years. You sure you want to be making accusations that people are “lapping this up?”

I could see this happening, but not sure that it did.

This legit happened. (beto, 1991, colorized):
