You are right. I forgot about that.
Elon could have carried the load but he would have had to liquidate some of his other holdings and that would have sent a terrible signal to his investors in TSLA, StarLink and other companies. So Larry stepped in.
The amount of censorship that is about the ensue on X will get interesting.
I've already seen some X post mocking censorship by reading food recipes or mechanical diagrams while showing pictures of the real message they are trying to convey to cheat the censorship algorithm. Right now it's kind of funny. But as speech gets more and more quashed it's not going to be funny any longer.

I think Trump is bordering on getting the peace prize, but truth of a matter he is a CEO of a biggest weapons dealer corporation at the moment that's selling weapons all over the world and exacerbating death. That's not generally in the spirit of the peace prize. He inherited most of this, but he's still dealing weapons as a spokesperson, that's not going to change.
Seriously though, who needs a Nobel Peace price after Obummer literally devalued it making it a woke participation trophy. It's utterly meaningless after he got it.
