I was so hoping the WGA (World Canadian Bureau of course) would be referenced in this thread.

The eastern Canadian provinces (Ontario, Quebec, and the Maritime provinces) are more left leaning in general. Ontario and Quebec are currently ran by conservatives (in Quebec’s case, the CAQ which is a center-right party focused on immigration)

Trump is scrutinized there for the most part, as are all us republicans because Canada, in general, is more left leaning especially on social issues.

Now in the prairies (Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta) they are extremely conservative and most have a great respect for trump.

How many Canadians cared about Trump?

Trudeau did but mainly because The Donald bent him over when it came to NAFTA.

That's true, I doubt Trudeau was a big fan of Trump's but he did seem to respect him somewhat.

As far as the polulace in Canada though, they were split roughly the same as Americans were. The "flyover country" parts of Canada were wishing their leader was MORE like him, while the Liberal city-dwelling Canadians disliked his ego and brashness.

I feel like they'll ALL come to miss Trump eventually though. While he was tough on them with NAFTA, he was ultimately fair; and the Canadian economy relies and follows the American economy in lockstep it seems.

It didn't take more than a full day for Canada to have buyer's remorse on Biden - the rest of the world, (aside from China) soon to follow.

I’m sure the same folks who were complaining about Trump damaging our relationships with allies will be here shortly to condemn Biden.

Alberta’s leader, Premier Jason Kenney said he was “deeply concerned” at reports of Biden canceling the pipeline, saying his government would look into legal action. The Associated Press reports “top officials in Canada want a chance to make the case for a long-disputed oil pipeline to be built.” Kenney said, “we hope President-elect Biden will show respect for Canada and will sit down and at the very least talk to us.”

Sorry Canada. You wanted Trump gone. These are the consequences. Maybe you should have supported Trump. You did not. Now you pay the price, and so do those who will lose their jobs. Every person who wanted Hiden to be elected and lose a job, get what they deserve. Everyone else is collateral damage from an obscene decision to put Hiden in office.

I really do.

Not bc I think those lefty fricks north of us don't deserve what they asked for, but bc our leaders will just throw out money at them to keep them happy about not getting their pipeline.

Alberta, the province in Canada that's talking about suing Biden is very different from Ottawa and Toronto. They want to break away from the liberals on the east coast.

Alberta is the MCGA crowd of Canada. (Make Canada Great Again.)

First off, how is this fricking pipeline not already built? I thought Trumps approval made them start right away and lowered our gas prices.

Second, frick Biden
