Prediction: Every poster will recommend replacing members of different wings of the GOP with someone from their own wing.

Senate:

Burr - He's in love with Warner and is nothing but his pawn

Romney - Yes, he needs to go already.

Murkowski

Collins

Sasse

Corker

House:

Can't think of any obvious ones other than Ryan who is retiring. I'm sure there's some, but can't think right now considering there's over 200 of them.

Probably easier to make one of the ones that shouldn't

Possibly.

Would you submit a list of dems. That you think should be replaced?

As you know, I am a 35-year GOP voter, so it is fair to say that I would like to see every Dem replaced with a Jim Webb clone (about as far Right as the modern Dems go), but that is clearly not realistic. Maxine Waters and Sheila Jackson Lee are too dumb to be breathing, so almost any Dem would be an improvement. Eddie Bernice Johnson sometimes gets thrown in the mix with them, but I disagree. I worked as an aide in the Texas Senate during her tenure there, and she is quite bright, even if I disagree with probably 80% of her ideology.

On the GOP side, I am not immune from the syndrome I set forth in my original post. I would love to see every SoCon GOP officeholder replaced with a Main Street Republican or a Rand Paul-type member of the libertarian wing. Though I support Ted Cruz with both money and effort for his strict constructionist views, I would happily replace even HIM with a strict constructionist from the libertarian wing. His social views are FAR too SoCon for my ideal.

I can only use one hand to type, and a list that long isn't worth the effort.

I make no secret that I am part if the libertarian wing of the GOP coalition, at the fringe of GOP orthodoxy. In the following chart, you can find me in the overlap between the libertarian Right and the Center Right.

Based upon your posts, I suspect you would be found just north of the “A” in “Alt-Right.”. so, we likely do not share many of the same views. At least I accept that your ilk is beter than the bulk of Dems. You lack the wit to say the same of folks in my wing of the GOP coalition.
