They are terrible. But the GOP is also being fractured by Trumpty. And the dems barely lost with Hillary fricking Clinton (79,000 votes in three state’s with a 2M vote useless surplus in the popular), under federal investigation and fainting all over the place.

Move on? But they were the heroes of Republicans for years. Republicans were just as crazy as the liberals who supported Obama through all of his shite.

Has anybody ever considered the extent to which the Bush Family has publicly and maybe even behind the scenes helped to prop up, normalize and legitimize Bill and Hillary Clinton over the years?

Anybody ever notice that the Bushes NEVER have a harsh word for a Clinton and consider them good friends and colleagues?

Could it be that behind the scenes even now the Bushes are lobbying Swamp Dwellers to avoid any adverse Dept of Justice or CIA action/investigation against any Clinton or anything a Clinton does?

You are wrong about “most people” not liking Trump

I like him because he has done what he said he would do

In fact, he is doing what other republicans have been promising for decades

I don’t agree with him on everything, but he has easily been the best policy president in my lifetime

I also feel that he gets an extraordinarily unfair shake from the media; so I tend to dismiss everything negative said about him, and I can promise you I am not alone

He will get a tax cut

That will help most working Americans and the economy in general

Things are already better economically & Trump is advocating for common sense in the face of actual insanity (bathroom laws, militant homosexuals given preferential treatment & Christians marginalized)

He is an absolute lock to win a 2nd term and you can also bank on at least 4, if not 6 or more, added seats for republicans in the Senate

The fact that pseudo intellectuals hate him and the media narrative is against him won’t change that

There's a simple explanation for that. Clinton was aware of and tangentially complicit in the CIA/HW Bush involvement with allowing the cartels in Colombia to smuggle drugs into the US in exchange for funding the Contras and other off-book programs.

According to every poll everywhere, not so much.

That’s favorability/likability. We can do job approval as well. Just as dicey.

I don't think it is necessary for a president to be "liked" by the people.

The presidency calls for tough decisions that may appear mean to many. Truman, Bush 1, among others were not "liked" at the end of their terms in part because of tough but morally correct decisions.

So we should do job approval as well. Because that’s something we can do.
