Can we at least all agree that there should be no such thing as "finding" ballots

After an election is over?
Sure. There can be ballots remaining to be counted. But literally discovering ballots after the fact? What the frick?
How does even one American justify counting ballots you "find" after the fact? There's no logical way to defend that.
The absurd part of all of this is that the left of seems to be taking the position so that if they find votes you have to prove the votes are false to not count them..
That's fricking retarded. Any vote found that didn't remain in some sort of chain of custody can't be counted and the burden of proof for counting them is on the finder

They should jail those election supervisors.
Where Jimmy Carter? I thought he spent his retirement in part monitoring elections and stopping voter fraud.

According to the MSM it's clear that Dems can find all the ballots they want because they're pure as the driven snow....
It also clear that Reps should never find ballots because they're all racist, etc, etc, etc....

Seems that it’s only republicans who claim that ballots were “found.” I will wait to see something confirmed before I join this linguistic game.

What are you talkin about? Votes have been supposedly found in every election since 2000. It should literally be impossible. If you discover votes that you weren't aware of on the day of the election then those votes can't count

“As many as it takes.”
Signed, Democrats
Signed, Democrats

Linguistic game? Are you seriously this shitty a fricking person?
At the end of the day of the election anybody running the election should be able to tell you exactly how many votes have been cast.

The sad part is that about half the country is fine with cheating to win and they have no idea what they are bringing on this country and the following repercussions.

It is extremely confusing.
Whoever was in charge of those ballots should be in jail.
There must be a clear rules re:chain of custody in place for paper ballots, right?
If we take these ballots to be real, whoever was in charge of them before they were forgotten in a closet or trunk or wherever should be facing some very real and very public consequences.
That's one way to stop this. Prosecute the hell out of this reckless negligence and dereliction of duty.
If the democrats want to find a box of ballots somewhere they also have to find someone willing to serve the maximum allowed sentence for losing those ballots in the first place

Shouldn’t there be a “chain of custody”. I mean if the “chain of custody” of evidence in trial is suspect/violated the evidence gets “tossed”. Once you violate the “chain of custody” on ballots they should be tossed as well because how can you truely ascertain they aren’t fake at that point.

LOL. Finding ballots is a tradition that both parties have long employed. The idea that only Democrats find ballots lying around can be countered be the fact that Republicans always look to find ballots of military personnel serving overseas. You do need to find ballots if the ballots found can potentially sway the election. If the Republicans were up by 50,000 votes then all sides can agree that there is no need to find ballots.
Plus Republicans via photo ID requiring exam names and signatures and exact matching addresses try to sway elections at the front end.

This is a sad truth. There was a sampling of college students who were asked about cheating in order to achieve a better GPA, many thought there was nothing wrong with cheating.
