Nope. They will sentence him to Rikers just for the sake of doing so. There’s an astronomically small chance he actually spends a day locked up since he will be free on bail pending appeal, but it’s enough for the talking coconuts to stand in front of a mic and blabber about “convicted felon sentenced to prison” bullshite.

If Hochul, Schumer,Gillibrand, Jeffries and Pelosi don't do this it's much more of a problem in that it gives Trump's team a huge issue to run with. It would be bad politics....and potentially dangerous .

There is minimal chance he goes to jail.
Did the court say no unallowed testimony was allowed in the trial?
I haven't heard anything about that yet.
So the judge may sentence him but it will be held for appeal I would suspect.
If the crazy judge still goes forward with it and sentences him to jail inefficient, I would suspect a higher judge would hold it till appeals are held.
He may try to sentence him but I doubt it will be allowed.
