It always makes me laugh when these retards throw a hissy fit when they think the government should be doing a job. Yes, the same government that brings you the super efficient DMV and USPS.

Well let’s take that a step further. Why are mom and pop pharmacies excluded from this? Is it because they aren’t listed on the DJIA?

Yeah, let's try to contact every mom and pop pharmacy across the country and get them set up with a fedgov contract.

I realize you do nothing but troll here, but you don't have to be a complete retard.

I’m not upset. Let’s just keep the perspective that this is all about money and not about actual efficacy of containing the virus.

^^^here it is. We have invested BILLIONS in Govt agencies to prepare for this exact scenario. They failed miserably. But Walmart steps in to fix shite- and might make a buck or two in the process- and that's bad.

Newsflash- fixing the market and controlling this thing is good for all of us....even if Walmart makes a few $$'s

I mean, he does pretty good on his own. His last press conference was one of the cringiest things I’ve ever seen.

1) MAJOR corporations are now onboard developing tests, turnaround results, drive thru testing locations, technology and web site development,
2) student loan interest waived,

3)massive purchase of oil reserves

4) And Trump is not self quarantining!

I didn’t say it was bad. I’m just pointing out both sides of the coin.

Your point is well-taken.

I’ll amend my original post, then, with this:

Trump’s press conference showed the fed gov is about to start mass testing to stabilize the pandemic while infusing federal dollars into big business to stabilize the market.

Reporter: WHY IS THERE NO HAND SANITIZER!? WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO HOLD THE CEOS OF THESE COMPANIES RESPONSIBLE!?

WHAT ARE PEOPLE GOING TO DO THAT WANT TO USE HAND SANITIZER!?

Jesus Christ I can’t stand these pathetic grown children.

Now the President of the United States and the worlds leading health experts are now once again having to tell and teach people how to wash their fricking hands.

Because to include them would be incredibly inefficient.

Contact four major companies who have the resources to implement this plan immediately is vastly more efficient.

I would wager that the cost to contract CONVID testing turn-key, kits, labor, reporting etc to CVS, Wal-Greens and Wal-mart on a unit price schedule, will cost less and have better reporting data, faster, than issuing the (Insert your County/Parrish here) Health Department an emergency federal grant to perform the same task.

And as other posters have noted, that money gets put into the real economy, vs into a black hole of local and county governments.

Here’s all you need to know about what happened during the press conference:

Biggest single day points gain in history.

The fear factor rate was cut in half.

how about this....
investing in folks who will actually do shite vs those who get in the way and hold "hearings"

Federal $$'s aren't being used to stabilize the market. They are being used to fix the problem. Market stability is a by-product.

The private sector is more efficient at EVERYTHING in comparison to the govt.

Holy fricking shite.
