California will continue falling as they continue to push out refineries.

California continues to make it impossible to operate in their state. The endless regulations, PR hits, unwillingness to see the impact it will cause…
Job loss and families taking the hit. Companies made to look like the bad guys in the media, but then they get mad when they leave.
But they feel good.
Have fun with $15+/gallon gasoline.

You have to crash the system before you can get a new system.

Atlas Shrugged IRL
I say let the west coast secede and then invade as a threat.
It's much easier to rule by fear as a conqueror than as a democracy having freedoms used against you by communists.

We should just stop giving them hand outs and funding. Let them see how it goes.

I’ve always criticized those who advocate letting progressive states secede, however this is a novel idea that could be workable.

All part of Newsom's evil plan I'm sure.

I'll tell you who isnt concerned about refineries closing in California. Left wing politicians and the morons who vote for them. They honestly have no idea what refineries do, what the impact will be, etc nor do they care as they polish their pronouns and embrace their warped ideology.

Not to mention Elon Musk has moved Tesla, SpaceX, and X (Twitter) to Texas.
It's almost like Democrats don't understand why high taxes drive companies to move from America to cheaper overseas locations.

I hope you realize the entire county will be bailing them out. TOO BIG TO FAIL.

Not only california, these refineries also supply fuel to neighboring states.
The military bases in california will have the fuel that they need, the remaining population will suffer needlessly.
If fuel has to be trucked in from Texas the high cost will leave a fatal wound to the population of that unfortunate state.
We will not bail them out. There must be consequences for acting like a 2 year old throwing a fit .

Hopefully the Valero refineries in Louisiana will be the ones who have to hire more workers to pick up the slack. More jobs for Louisiana

California has many problems but it provides more taxes to the federal government than it gets back.

Did you view the video and pay attention? CARBOB, California only special blend is not made in any US state but California. South Korea, India, and a little in Singapore is the only other source. California will lose 17% production capacity by April next year.
It ain't going to be trucked in.

I was told there wouldn't be a video or a chemistry pop quiz.

I would love it if every single refiner refused to sell any products to anyone in California.
Every. Single. One.
Watch everything in California grind to a halt.

I'm sure the few remaining refiners in California will be squeezing the hell out of everyone purchasing gasoline. The article said immediate 1.40 and up increase. Shipping in special blend gasoline from the 3 Asian countries that make the blend cannot be unloaded fast enough through California ports to make up for the 17% loss of production that is about to happen. They fricked.

California was the best state in America at one time when it was run by dems and republicans. They shared power and worked together for the betterment of the state. Once it became a one-party that was the end. Progressives are lazy and incompetent. Benign neglect has never worked.
