As long as the national government doesn’t bail out the coming Great Socialist California Implosion I’m for it. A whole generation has been taught that socialism is good since the USSR crashed. Lessons must be taught in the school of hard knocks without unionized teachers!

Ah yes, the old “money is infinite and the solution for poverty is just to give poor people more of it” approach. The mind boggles at how stupid supposedly “smart” people are. I swear it’s like I’m taking crazy pills.

Helluva idea! Take away $2000 of food stamps, housing assistance, free phones, etc. and give'em $1000 in MONEY! Crimes like mugging, theft, robbery, burglary, etc. would go down because they'd have the cash in hand for their drugs. Pawn shop owners would hate it, but govt would need fewer police to investigate because of less crime, so there's a saving....LET'S DO IT!!

They're not removing current welfare programs. If you're on a current state welfare program, you are not eligible for the UBI.

My wife has been begging me to move back to Cali. I told her she can go back but I have no desire to. The state is beautiful and living there is fun as there is so much to experience and do, but the state's liberal policies far outweighs all the positives of living there.
